As an employer we have to follow eligibility guidelines or our entire plan


can be disallowed and then everyone is screwed. Our cost of meeting regulations is enormous in time and resources and its just easiest to get documentation in case there are questions. If you aren't trying to weasel something over on your employer then there should be no problem complying even though its a pain for you. Believe it or not there are those that DO try to weasel things over.
